We collect only what is needed.

Information submitted through email, telephone or WhatsApp is used to respond to enquiries, coordinate authorised programme processes and maintain necessary organisational records.

Purpose

We use contact and programme information only for the reason it was provided or for a directly related authorised purpose.

Responsible access

Access is limited to authorised personnel who need the information for legitimate organisational work.

Respect and security

ZFO does not sell personal information. We take reasonable steps to protect records and avoid publishing personal data without a lawful or agreed basis.

Safeguarding

Everyone has the right to participate safely.

ZFO is committed to preventing exploitation, abuse, harassment and discrimination in its activities, particularly where children, young people and vulnerable groups are involved.

Do no harm

Programme planning and delivery should identify risks and protect the dignity, safety and rights of participants.

Confidential reporting

Safeguarding concerns may be reported confidentially to info@zanfocus.org.

Responsible response

Concerns are handled according to their nature, with confidentiality, fairness and referral to competent authorities where required.

Feedback and complaints

Speak up when something needs attention.

Community members, partners, participants and staff may submit feedback or complaints about ZFO’s conduct, programmes or services.

How we respond

ZFO will register the matter, assess the appropriate handling route, protect confidentiality as far as possible and communicate the outcome or next step to the person raising it.

Inclusion and integrity

Fair participation and responsible stewardship.

ZFO promotes equal participation for women, youth, persons with disabilities and marginalised groups, and expects resources and partnerships to be managed transparently.

Equal participation

Programme decisions should consider accessibility, gender equality, local voice and barriers faced by vulnerable groups.

Conflicts of interest

Board members, staff and programme personnel are expected to disclose interests that could affect impartial decision-making.

Financial integrity

Suspected fraud, misuse of resources or unethical conduct may be reported confidentially through the same complaints channel.
